With 10 Percent System-Wide Sales Increase, Industry Leader Expands National Footprint

Additionally, the strength of the brand was not only represented through its growth in unit sales but also by increasing its system-wide sales by 10 percent and average same store sales grew by 15.7 percent in the same period.
“These remarkable numbers reinforce the idea that the commercial cleaning segment is not only one of the fastest growing industries, but continues to be recession-resilient and in high demand in every market,” said Adam Povlitz, vice president of operations for Anago. “We credit the unparalleled success to our tiered system of Master Franchisees and Unit Franchisees, many of whom use their prior executive and leadership skills to uphold the high level of standards and processes that we have developed as a corporation.”
Since its inception in 1989, Anago has continued to build new relationships within the industry, quickly becoming one of the most recognized names in commercial cleaning. The company continues to produce new income streams for both Master and Unit Franchisees, positioning itself as the leader in the industry demonstrated in its track record for growth, opening over 400 locations in the past two years.
As verification to its success in 2012, Anago was ranked as the 10th fastest-growing franchise and 39th on the Franchise 500 by Entrepreneur Magazine for the 2013 awards. Franchise Business Review has ranked Anago as one of the best franchises in terms of franchisee satisfaction and Inc. Magazine has also recognized Anago as one of the top privately-held companies in the United States. Anago has also been consistently awarded as one of the top franchise opportunities for minority business owners.
“One of our biggest assets as a brand is our ability to provide business ownership opportunities at any investment range,” said Povlitz. “If people are interested in taking control of their future and have ever dreamed of becoming a small business owner, now is the time. The demand in the commercial cleaning industry is only continuing to grow and we are equipped for expansion all over the country.”
Contributing to Anago’s growth is this year was the launch of the $250,000 Veteran Franchise Fund, an initiative to help more veterans enter business ownership. Anago’s initiative is supported by its plan to award Master Franchise opportunities to 20 military veterans in the next 20 months. The potential exists to add more than 500 jobs to local economies throughout the United States.
“Our goal as a company has always been to assist entrepreneurs in achieving their dreams with business ownership,” shared Povlitz. “We have found ways to lower barriers of entry for everyone, wither it be our nation’s heroes, minority business owners and those looking to create their own job in the tough economy. We are proud to see our growth and expect another outstanding year.”
