Florida-based Anago Cleaning Services is looking to break into the Birmingham market.
Anago President Adam Povlitz said the company is eyeing the Magic City for expansion in the near future and is looking for a master franchisee for metro Birmingham.
“Based on our analysis, we’re seeing that Birmingham is growing,” Povlitz said. “Birmingham is becoming a major business center in the Southeast.”
Povlitz said the typical master franchisee would need an office space between 1,000 and 2,000 square feet.
The commercial cleaning company, which was founded in 1989, provides a variety of services to clients, but also helps the franchisees build their business.
Povlitz said many cleaning business owners spend all day selling and recruiting new clients and spend the night cleaning.
“It turns into a 24/7 thing,” he said. “What Anago does is it breaks it into two parts. They (Anago) do the day job for the cleaner.”
Povlitz said the cleaning service is also veteran friendly and offers a 20 percent discount for honorably discharged service men and women, along with six months of no royalty fees to Anago.
Anago was founded by David Povlitz who ran a cleaning service for several large corporate clients in the Detroit area for over a decade.
