“We are thrilled by our inclusion in this year’s USA Today – Franchising Today selection,” said David Povlitz, Chairman of Anago and a veteran himself. “We believe our unique tiered system of Master and Unit franchisees translates very well for veterans who are looking at the next stage of their careers. For veterans, Anago offers a professional platform, where they can operate as business owners and service specific target areas.”
According to the report, the World Franchising Network “asked over 3,000 franchisors to return a questionnaire that detailed the involvement of military veterans in their programs and the ‘discounts’ they are offered in terms of initial investment, franchise fees, and on-going royalties.” There were 50 selected as recipients of the prestigious award – Anago being one of them.
The goal was to provide information about the franchising opportunity to help advance military veterans within organizations, and Anago’s award recognition presents additional exposure of the company’s aim to specifically target the veteran community. With an average Master Franchise cost of $39,000, Anago offers a viable option for veterans, particularly those who are unfamiliar with commercial cleaning, but know how to run a successful operation. In fact, in addition to VetFran discounts offered to veterans who open an Anago franchise, Povlitz even launched the $250,000 Veteran Franchise Fund, an initiative to help more veterans enter business ownership. This initiative is supported by its plan to award Master Franchise opportunities to 20 military veterans in the next 20 months, where the potential exists to add more than 500 jobs to local economies throughout the United States.
With a low cost of entry, veterans can even join the Anago system as a Unit Franchisee, with initial investment starting for as little as $1,000 down, depending on program size. Just recently, Anago was ranked 7th on a list of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Home Based Franchises for its Unit Franchise opportunity.
“These recognitions show individuals that the Anago franchise model appeals to many different groups of people, who can find long-term success in the ever-growing, 100 billion dollar commercial cleaning industry,” Povlitz added.
